Covid-19
Georgia OBGYN remains committed to our patients and the community. It is our goal to provide quality healthcare to everyone during this COVID-19 pandemic.
Visitor’s policy:
- Patients who have Covid-19 should stay home until they’ve been fever-free without medication for at least 24 hours and their symptoms have been improving for 24 hours. The CDC recommends that people take additional precautions for the next five days — including proper hygiene, masking, and limiting close contact with others.
- For our pregnant patients, Northside Hospital Atlanta has implemented a policy for Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby and High Risk Perinatal patients. These patients are allowed three support people (includes doulas) of the mother's choosing for the duration of the hospital stay (as of 5/22/2023).
- Patients undergoing outpatient surgery or procedures at Northside Hospital Atlanta and Meridian Mark are allowed two visitors in the waiting room.
- If you have the following symptoms: fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please request a mask from the receptionist.
We do not have COVID-19 testing in our office.
If you are concerned about a possible infection, please call the office for guidance about the appropriate next steps.
